Deep Blue Sea

Deep Blue Sea, a worship band made up of musicians and singers from the Church Centre in Liphook and from Holy Rood Church, Stubbington, took part in the 24 Hour Worship Event held at Portsmouth Cathedral at the end of October.

Those who visited the event were able to worship God in a different style each hour as the Christian year was celebrated, ticking off Advent, Christmas, Lent, Palm Sunday, Easter and Pentecost throughout the night and the following day. The event embraced a huge variety of worship styles, from contemporary worship songs to silent reflection, from storytelling to drumming workshops, and from prayer installations to traditional hymns.
