On Sunday 7th February we were pleased to welcome suffragan Bishop Edmund Dawson-Amoah and Canon Joseph Bain-Doodu from our link Diocese of Cape Coast in Ghana.
This was the headline in the Liphook Herald following our first Live Nativity, which was held at the Church Centre on 5th December. More than 170 visitors came through the doors to experience something of the true meaning of Christmas.
The heavy snow of early January may have stopped much of the road traffic for a few days but it did not stop church services or activities. Like so many in our community, church members were out in the villages helping neighbours and keeping an eye on the vulnerable.
The last week of July was the fifteenth year of the Liphook Lightshow, our holiday club for 100 children aged 5-11. The aim of Lightshow is to have fun but also to learn something important about God during the week.
On Wednesday 24th June at 10.30am at St Mary, Bramshott a service was held to commemorate the strong connections between the Canadian Armed Forces and the villages around Bramshott.
On 13th June, some of the Urban Saints group and some young people from the Methodist Church took part in The Event - an afternoon of games activities, pizza and fun for youth groups from around the Fratton area.
