Parish Quiet Day
Date/time: Sat 3rd November, 2007 - 10:00am
Location: Acorn Christian Foundation, Whitehill Chase
A Quiet Day for the parish is being held at the Acorn Christian Foundation, Whitehill Chase, on Saturday November 3rd 2007 from 10 am to 4 pm.
David Strutt is leading the day and the theme will be “Touching the Hem”. He will be guiding us through periods of teaching and reflection and there will be plenty of space during the day for personal reflection. The day will conclude with an informal celebration of Holy Communion.
Those who have come to the Quiet Days each year have said how valuable they have found this time spent apart with God, and to have this opportunity for reflection and prayer. Not only do we all receive spiritual nourishment and refreshment but this also bears fruit as we deepen our relationship with God in fellowship with others in our parish, in beautiful surroundings.
The cost for the day is £18.50 per person. This includes a full cooked lunch, coffee and tea and the use of all the facilities of the house, chapel and gardens. If you haven’t been before, now is the time to come and taste and see!! The Quiet Day is open to all who live outside the Parish – everyone welcome! For booking and further details please contact the Church Office or Maxine Nicholas (01730 890433).
